ILR BLACKPOOL Radio Wave (The Wave 96.5) broadcasts from an aerial located on the famous Blackpool Tower and uses a 0.1 kW transmitter.  The station covers Blackpool and the Fylde coast.  The Fylde is quite a flat part of Lancashire and the station's signal is heard easily across to the M6 motorway.
