
The BBC map showing coverage of BBC Hereford and Worcester
In December 2005 the BBC
opened a new relay transmitter at Headless Cross to serve the town of
Redditch in north-east Worcestershire that is otherwise shielded from
local radio tranmissions. The frequency is 104.4 MHz VHF/FM
stereo with a power of 100 Watts mixed polarisation. The map
below shows the predicted coverage area of good and reasonable
reception:
