I have been in Siberia for a few days. I kept a look out for interesting radio and TV masts and have a few photos from this exotic place. However, when TV masts were in view, the weather was not good for photos (very cloudy) and I did not have the opportunity to get near enought to either of the two masts (one in Novosibirsk, the other in Tomsk). H.B. Nikitin, the designer of the Ostankino TV tower in Moscow, is a graduate of Tomsk Polytechnical University, where they have an excellent technology/science museum, including display panels with information about him and his designs. I enclose a couple of photos from this museum. |
