NAXXAR
(Map Ref: 2)
Naxxar (prounounce Nashar) is the Maltacom monitoring and microwave
link link station. It is at a high point on the North of Malta
and
is visible for miles around, though not quite as outstanding as
Gharghur.

BENGHISA
(Map Ref: 11)
This is the
Maltacom Benghisa Transmitting Station, which appears to be used, at
least in part, by air traffic communications.

MTARFA

Mtarfa is a Maltacom Link Station, it is also home to some mobile phone
antennae.

This is a nearby tower just across
the road from the Maltacom Link Station Tower, but seems unused and
possibly unrelated.

GHALLIS

This mast is not far from Bugibba
and carries the low frequency DATATRACK service.
