Each mast or tower photograph is referenced to the map.

Map By HRW ATLAS go.hrw.com

NAXXAR (Map Ref: 2)
Naxxar (prounounce Nashar) is the Maltacom monitoring and microwave link link station.  It is at a high point on the North of Malta and is visible for miles around, though not quite as outstanding as Gharghur.

BENGHISA (Map Ref: 11)
This is the Maltacom Benghisa Transmitting Station, which appears to be used, at least in part, by air traffic communications.

MTARFA (Map Ref: 7)
Mtarfa is a Maltacom Link Station, it is also home to some mobile phone antennae.

This is a nearby tower just across the road from the Maltacom Link Station Tower, but seems unused and possibly unrelated.

View of the Mtarfa site as seen from Mdina.  The main Maltacom tower is clearly visible, but the second (presumably unrelated) tower is partially hidden behind the buildings on the left of the photo.

GHALLIS  (Map Ref: 6)
This mast is not far from Bugibba and carries the low frequency DATATRACK service.
