Kevin
Carroll explains:
Pictured
here is the transmitter site at 'Knockmoyle' in the
'Slieve Mish' mountain range near the large town of Tralee in County
Kerry, south west Ireland.
Two
of the photos are an RTE mast/site, whilst the 3rd photo shows the RTE
mast (on left) whilst another mast on the right is used for MMDS
(so-called 'wireless cable TV' at 2.5 - 2.7 GHz) and also hosts a
transmitter for ILR Radio Kerry on 97.2MHz and point-to-point links for
Radio Kerry.
The
photos were taken during August (2006).
