Hi Mike, I am looking for some accessories for the Lowe HF125. Can you let me know if I can get a HF125 Whip Amplifier kit for this receiver? Look forward to hearing from you. Best wishes, Regards,  Nigel. G4OFO  -  August 2011.

Hi Nigel, I am not aware of a specific kit for this radio, however I cannot imagine that it would be too difficult to construct a simple pre-amp, perhaps a differential amplifier. One could even copy, component for component, the pre-amp the Lowe built into the HF-150, I'm sure that would work. The circuit diagram is on the site for the HF150. I hope that helps a little and gives you some ideas to mull over!
